HELPING HOUNDS

"When I was eight years old, I spent all summer painting pet rocks to sell at my sister's lemonade stands. Everything I earned from those sales, I would donate to our local animal shelter. Then, after I graduated college, I was lucky enough to work at that same shelter for many years. To this day, I can't stop creating and I can't help but continue to give back to the dogs and organizations that have meant so much to me for so long."

ADOPTABLE GOOD HOUNDS

MEET SQUEAKY

Squeaky is a 10 year old dachshund that weighs 10lbs and when she gets excited, she makes a squeaky sound! She is currently in a household with multiple dogs/cats and gets along with all of them. Squeaky has only met older children, but foster mom believes she would do well with all ages. All of Squeaky's teeth have been removed but that doesn't let it stop her from her passion of eating.

MEET ANITA

Anita is a 1 year old, 90lb mastiff mix who came to us from less than glorious circumstances with her one surviving puppy. Anita is good with all humans and is generally good with other dogs, but she needs slow introductions to other dogs as she is still postpartum and is not yet ready for large crowds. Anita is not a fan of cats, but that's about her biggest flaw.

MEET JUNIOR

Junior is 10 years old and looking for a family to live his remaining years with, as a result of his beloved owner passing away. While he has been in foster care, his foster parents have learned a lot about him: he loves to play, chase things, go for walks, eat, sleep and while there are not kids or other pets in his foster home, he looks for friends to play with (human and canine) on our walks.
